Summary/Objective


Uhnder has developed the world’s first automotive digital Radar on Chip (RoC). Sensors based on Uhnder’s Digitally Coded Modulation (DCM) technology achieve new and unprecedented levels of performance for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving solutions. Founded in 2015, its main engineering operations center is in Austin, Texas, USA with design facilities in India and China.


As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will join a team of industry experts spanning mixed-signal, RF, digital, systems and software experts to develop the next generation of electronics surrounding us and impacting us in our everyday lives.


Essential Functions


  • Creating and maintaining test systems for integrated circuit and radar characterization.
  • Collecting, organizing, and presenting test results.
  • Development of Python, web, and database tools for automation of data collection and management.
  • Electrical system prototyping, debugging, and rework.
  • Mechanical prototyping and fixture development.
  • Managing laboratory operations such as equipment calibration, maintenance, parts procurement, system updates.
  • Logistical coordination of module builds and deployments.
  • Overseeing external suppliers and contractors.
  • Making contributions to a company culture of shared knowledge and teamwork through developing and conveying internal procedures and methods


Required Education and Experience:


  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Applicable work, internship, or project experience
