ROLE OVERVIEW
Primergy is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to join our growing Asset Management team. This individual will play a key role in optimizing the performance and profitability of our solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy systems, asset and/or project management, and a demonstrated track record of success in the renewable energy industry. The Associate Asset Manager will support the Senior Manager and assume direct oversight and responsibility for designated aspects of compliance, vendor management, and reporting across the current portfolio of operating assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Regulatory compliance including federal, state and local reporting and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.

Support the Senior Manager in management of material project agreements and third-party service providers.
- Support the Senior Manager in financial management and oversight.

- Track and report revenue and expenses.
- Work with the broader team on fleet performance improvement opportunities.
- Ensure monthly settlements are accurate and timely.
- Annual development of budgets for renewable energy projects.
- Compile and deliver accurate and insightful operating fleet reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Assist in the onboarding of new projects from construction to commercial operation

Special projects as assigned such as performance reporting process improvement, vegetation management, and managing contract deliverables/compliance items in Salesforce.

Populate and manage centralized hub for the team's collective knowledge to enable efficient project work, process documentation, and lessons learned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 years’ experience working in renewable energy in an analyst role, project management or asset management role.

Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, etc. reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Knowledge of operational contracts and regulatory filings to comply with industry regulations and best practices.

Management of technical contract scopes and partnerships with third-party providers.

Excellent project management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
