POSITION SUMMARY:

Summer Friday, a creative content and marketing agency, is looking for a marketing strategist for a 3-6 month internship, working 15-20 hours/week. This is a remote paid internship open to marketing students or recent graduates of US university/college courses.

You have a positive, can-do attitude and proactively offer solutions in a fast moving environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:           

  • Research on industry trends and client specific requests 

  • Conduct competitive analyses and audiences analyses to inform messaging and creative direction 

  • Create and edit Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Provide quality assurance on all agency output including creative, video, campaign plans, reports, and analysis.

  • Assist in reviewing and facilitating the completion of projects internally by collaborating closely with the creative and production teams.

  • Organize account files and documents electronically.

  • Provide support to Client Strategy and Creative teams as needed.

  • Maintain general knowledge of industry/client business beyond the assignment at hand.

  • Be a great team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing college degree

  • Top-notch organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in order to meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good listener with willingness to take notes

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong initiative and personal drive

  • Calm demeanor, positive outlook, ability to collaborate with and inspire team members and clients

  • An entrepreneurial attitude to take on tasks that support our clients’ success and the vision of Summer Friday. No job is too big or too small for you.
