We are seeking a Talent & Culture Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on HR experience to help guide the evolution of our culture, safeguard our ethos, and nurture an environment of creative collaboration by overseeing our agency’s HR practices as we continue to grow and expand in Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C.
Job Summary
The Talent & Culture Specialist conducts and supports human resources activities under the direction of the EVP, Finance & Administration, and in coordination with the TriNet workforce management platform. The Specialist brings insight into HR philosophy and protocols along with the ability to manage tactical HR elements for 40+ diverse employees in multiple geographic markets.
Responsibilities
· Assists leadership team with the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures
· Assists leadership team and company managers with coordination of employee reviews and performance benchmarking
· In coordination with managers and TriNet workforce management platform, oversees recruiting, onboarding, and employee training and development programs to support agency values and goals
· Maintains daily employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, performance and other activities according to company policies and regulatory requirements
· Processes paperwork according to established procedures
· Prepares employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, PTO, and corporate policy
· Contributes to budget development as needed
· Stays abreast of HR data and trends related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc.
· Recommends improvements to HR practices
Requirements & skills
· Bachelor’s degree
· 5-7 years of related HR competence; experience in an ad agency or design firm a plus
· Excellent command of written and spoken English; Spanish proficiency a plus
· Ability to effectively interface with internal departments and staff
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident, eligible for government clearance
· Mastery of MS Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
