ROLE PURPOSE

The Implementation Architect is responsible for the successful configuration of all assigned client services and products during the implementation phase of all assigned projects, as well as in support of changes introduced during the maintenance phase. Serving as the primary technical resource for ClinOne clients, the Implementation Architect will be responsible for configuring high-quality solutions across the ClinOne platform in line with client protocol requirements, company SOPs, and GcP guidelines.  Working in a matrix environment, the Implementation Architect will be expected to collaborate with team members to identify risks and issues, and develop creative solutions to drive resolution. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Function

  • Analyze protocol and client requirements to design and document platform solutions.
  • Lead the configuration and programming activities for all assigned projects across the ClinOne platform.
  • Lead iterative demos of configured product for clients per project milestones.
  • Manage assigned work in line with established timelines, budget, quality standards, and project scope.
  • Track assigned work in the project management system, including hours, percent complete, expected completion dates, and other critical measures.
  • Identify and report risks and issues in a timely manner, and collaborate with the project team to drive resolution through creative solutions.
  • Communicate with clients and project team members in an effective, collaborative manner.
  • Lead capability demos for prospective clients as required.
  • Facilitate internal product training as required.
  • Work closely with Product Management to facilitate the successful operationalization of new products and feature sets. 
  • Perform product quality control and provide input to product requirements.
  • Continuously improve the quality of the configuration process.

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

    Essential:

  • Bachelors’ degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience transforming requirements into high-quality technical solutions
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle and the specification and configuration of software products.
  • Able to work effectively in a matrix environment across multiple teams and projects.
  • Excellent time management, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills.
  • Able to exercise judgment to identify risks and issues, and creatively devise solutions.
  • Can effectively participate in conversations with diverse groups that may have competing interests.
  • Comfortable leading product demos with large groups.
  • Desire to develop new skills and share accrued knowledge with others.
  • Must show initiative and be able to work independently.
  • Desirable :

  • Experience configuring technical solutions for clinical trials. 
  • Experience/understanding of the clinical research environment and GCP.
  • Experience in operationalizing new products and product feature sets.
  • Background in Agile or continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma).
