Director of Business Development - West Coast (Remote/Full-time)

As Director, they will guide sales team members to prospect new clients and initiate new business relationships. They will be required to represent ClinOne at industry-related conferences and trade shows.

The Director of Business Development will have a proven track record in building productive client relationships in the clinical research, health sciences and technology industries. The Director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external sales plan that would increase revenues and profits directly within assigned territory. The person in this position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization while pushing the status quo forward.

The person will design and deliver strong solution-driven capabilities and proposal presentations in collaboration with highly skilled clinical and operations personnel. They will create business opportunities through identifying client needs and proactively working with customer and project teams to resolve client concerns by creating specific action plans that support the customer and the project team.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers on quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Prospecting new opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Establish and maintain excellent rapport with future and current clients.
  • Collects and studies important information for proposal presentations.
  • Implements the strategic sales plan.
  • Diligently keeps CRM (Salesforce) updated.
  • Furnishes marketing advice and support.
  • Continuously evaluates the market to assess and improve ClinOne’s competitive profile in the industry.
  • Identifies industry trends that create new product opportunities and new market segments for ClinOne.
  • Assists in developing feasibility studies/business plans for new product development.
  • Assists in developing marketing campaigns.
  • Supports ClinOne’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.

Travel:

  • Depending on location, travel may be primarily local during the business day, or may require up to 50% out-of-the-area and overnight travel.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of sales experience in eClinical market.
