The Mayor’s Council on Education and Workforce Development and Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership is looking to hire a full-time Senior Director, Educational Strategic Initiatives (ESI) who is personally and professionally committed to improving educational opportunities for all children. As Fort Worth continues to grow and work to attract and retain top talent, it is imperative that we support our public K-12 schools with strong relationships to our business and higher education communities. The Senior Director, ESI will report to the Executive Director of Tarrant To & Through Partnership (T3) and work collaboratively with the Office of the Mayor of Fort Worth, the Mayor’s Council on Education and Workforce Development (Mayor’s Council), and the T3 Leadership Team to help improve secondary and post-secondary educational opportunities for students. The Senior Director will align efforts with the T3 Post-secondary Pathways and College and Career Access Teams to achieve the following goals of the Mayor’s Council:

• To provide educational opportunities of the highest quality for all children in Fort Worth Public Schools to prepare them for success in their chosen careers, including careers that will meet the current and future needs of business and industry in North Texas.

• This will be achieved by the following measurable goals: (1) Increased high school graduation rates (2) Increased enrollments of students in P-TECH and ECHS (3) Increased job placement after high school graduation (4) Increased enrollments in Dual-Credit and CTE Programs

The Mayor’s Council and T3 are aligned in mission and vision and will work collaboratively to achieve the shared goals and outcomes.
