Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:
- Use repair orders to record all work performed and submit on a daily basis
- Maintain work area and service vehicle in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow established procedures to track and complete forms connected with work assignments.
- Ensure timely completion of work according to company regulations and procedures, and instruction from Foreman, or Manager
- Troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of components on truck and trailer reefer units.
- Completing preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service to refrigeration equipment.
- Repairing failures; removing, replacing, testing for Freon leaks, assembling, and installing parts and components involving soldering, welding and the use of refrigeration equipment.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and Background check.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the employer's insurance policy.
- Familiar with Thermo-King, Carrier, and other transport refrigeration equipment .
- Have good verbal and written communications skills.
- EPA Certified to use refrigerants, R134a and R404 and others as needed.
- May work in a shop, at our yard or out of a mobile service vehicle.
- Must be willing to work emergency after hours on-call rotation.
- Willingness to perform additional duties / assignments as may be required by management.
- Willingness to work all required shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- If you have HVAC experience, you are a self-starter with good diagnosing and electrical skills, then this may be a great opportunity for you.
- Must have all basic mechanics tools.
