What You’ll Do:

The DevOps Engineer will work directly in AWS alongside our Engineering team to ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of our production and test environments. Responsibilities include:

  • Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of an AWS cloud-based production system
  • Deployment and maintenance of an identical stack for testing and staging environments
  • Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems
  • Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products
  • System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
  • Provisioning of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions
  • Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements
  • Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform
  • Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes
  • Deployment and maintenance of build automation and monitoring tools to assist development efforts

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is extremely well versed in AWS and will implement our growing system architecture for PT Genie. In addition, you will have the following skills and qualifications: 


  • 2+ years’ experience in AWS cloud deployment and maintenance
  • Experience using configuration management tools and Ansible or similar IT automation platforms
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • High comfort level working in a Linux environment
  • Firm knowledge of IT security best practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • AWS Professional or Associate and/or MCSE certification(s)
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or other automated testing platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins or other build automation tools
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Unity
  • Prior experience in the health care industry
