JOB TITLE: Equip Auto Sales - Lot Manager

GOAL: To advance the mission and collaborative vision of Central Ohio Youth for Christ, especially Equip Auto Sales, by providing day-to-day management, oversight and improvement of the Used Car Lot. 

Key Objectives:

  • Increase used car sales revenue
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the lot and office
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Direct supervision of paid and volunteer lot staff 


Specific Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Used Car Sales - (75%)

  • Promotion of car features and benefits to prospective customers
  • Price negotiations
  • COmpletion of all sales paperwork as required by law
  • Maintain online sales inventory


Lot Management - (25%)

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of lot staff
  • Organize lot inventory and offices
  • Assist with processing of car donations
  • Direct lead mechanic on priority of repairs
  • Various other tasks from time to time as requested by the Director of Social Enterprises


Additional Expectations:

  • Obtain car sales license
  • Attend all training, staff, and supervision meetings as required
  • Assist in ministry opportunities with teens
  • Support chapter-wide fundraising and leadership development efforts

  •  Conduct financial transactions, customer service, and vendor relations in a way that honors God


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent car lot management experience 
  • Formal training in sales, marketing, and/or management is a plus
  • No restrictions for licensing to sell cars in the State of Ohio
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Well versed in PC technology
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work in the "COYFC culture"
