At TowerPoint, the Data Analyst plays a strategic role in helping to drive the company’s growth strategy by enabling data-driven decision making. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing large amounts of data to discover patterns or relationships related to strategic objectives and improvements. The Analyst is responsible for organizing and maintaining dashboards used to track sales and operations performance and producing supplemental reporting to analyze trends and ad-hoc inquiries. The Analyst compiles, analyzes, and prepares information for presentation to a cross-functional audience, including executive leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify insights/trends in existing data to drive data-driven decision making
- Propose and lead strategic initiatives related to leads/prospect data to drive prioritization for business execution
- Perform Bi-Weekly meetings with the Executive team to provide project updates, discuss issues with the data, and consult with the team on implementing solutions
- Acquire and synthesize data from external data sources to create new Leads
- Troubleshoot discrepancies in reporting
- Track the conversion rates between the stages of the sales funnel
- Facilitate the adjustment of metrics and KPI’s
- Supervise and monitor the addition and editing of records in the production database to ensure accuracy, uniqueness and referential integrity
- Track the performance of the Sales team by lead source to determine the quality of the data
- Ensure that new records are unique, accurate and complete
- Manage team projects and track hourly shifts
Requirements
- BA/BA or MS/MA degree in Data Science or related field
- Proficient with the following programming languages: DAX/M, Python, and SQL
- 4+ years of experience with Power BI
- 4+ years of experience using SQL Server or another relational database software
- 2+ years of presenting data and reports to executive level members
- Capable of defining and maintaining roles and rules for RLS
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, autonomous, requires minimal supervision to accomplish tasks and projects
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to prioritize projects and efficiently manage workload
- Experience managing a team of at least 2 people
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with being a Power BI Admin
- Background in Real Estate or wireless infrastructure, or familiarity with parcel records and parcel maps
- Prior experience as an Abstractor/Examiner
- Familiarity with Salesforce Objects and one-to-many relationships
- Prior experience working with geographic data or possess a background in GIS
