Primary Objectives of Position

Develop, implement, and maintain chassis operations and logistics processes, workflows, communications, data, analysis, metrics and reports. Support both Field and HQ operations teams with timely evaluation of operating conditions, identify tactical operational challenges and opportunities, and develop, recommend, and implement operational responses to optimize cost and service. Develop and maintain outstanding customer and vendor relationships.  Provide support to other functional areas including Business Intelligence, IT, Finance, and Sales.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Chassis Inventory

·         Reporting and reconciliation of chassis inventory reports from various depots across the FlexiVan Network

·         Auditing of internal systems of inventory information to ensure accuracy and integrity

·         Inventory planning for various business products and customers across the FlexiVan network

·         Communication between internal and external stakeholders on prioritization of chassis inventory

Vendor Management

·         Support operations by monitoring performance of various vendors, including chassis depot operators, chassis repair and transportation providers, chassis manufacturers, and part suppliers

·         Conduct audits of vendor performance quality, billing accuracy, and other KPI related items

 

Data Integrity

·         Monitor data integrity related to chassis transactions or idle inventory (e.g. validate gate transactions, manage exceptions, correct errors)

 

Operational Reporting/KPIs

·         Assist with data gathering, data integrity, analysis, and reporting

 

Other Duties as assigned

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts or Science or Equivalent work Experience of 4 Years

Preferred Degrees: Business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance


Skills Required:


Proficient in Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel)
