 Job Title:        Manager, Business Intelligence


Job Location: 7320 E. Butherus Dr., Suite 201, Scottsdale, AZ 85260   

Job Duties:      Flexi-Van Leasing LLC located in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Manager, Business Intelligence to manage workflow of Business Intelligence Analysts. Job responsibilities and duties include:


       •                      Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to both direct reports as well as operational consumers of BI and Analytics.


•                      Utilize enterprise platforms for report creation to external customers (Power BI).


•                      Persuasive and clear business writing skills, with a demonstrated track record of delivering data-driven recommendations with clear takeaways that are consumable by the end user.


•                      Being accountable for leading/performing full spectrum of business analysis functions for projects/programs of all complexity levels, including those with external customer and high senior management visibility.


•                      Work with operational leaders to understand complex business questions and to create a more standardized approach/templates to reports including the content, look, and delivery.


•                      Support development of management presentations and business reviews.


•                      Gather and summarize data from various sources (NetSuite, PowerBI, various internal resources).


•                      Data modeling and advanced forecasting.


•                      Provide explanations on the data delivered to end users (internal and external) and work through discrepancies.


•                      Monitor system performance and work with IT resources to resolve issues.


•                      Optimize data extraction from production systems to improve report performance as well as overall user experience.


•                      Implement additional tools as required to automate business processes where possible.


•                      Leverage and consolidate multiple disparate data sources to build a cohesive analysis with the goal being to work with a team to make business recommendations.


•                      Manage the day-to-day workflow of 3-4 Business Intelligence Analysts.


 


This position has 3 direct reports (Business Intelligence Analysts) and but does not have hiring or firing authority.


 


 


Minimum requirements:


Master’s in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, any Engineering field, and at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a closely related position

 


Qualified candidates must also have demonstrable knowledge, experience, skill or proficiency with the following:


•                      Transactional datasets to draw insights and create organizational value.


•                      Advanced user of MS Excel including Pivot tables, Vlookups, PowerPivot.


•                      Python


•                      SQL


•                      BI visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, QlikView.
