StorySlab is a mobile sales technology platform company located in Syracuse, NY. On our proprietary platform, we provide intuitive and effortless sales enablement applications for inside & outside sales teams. We market to business-to-business clients, with a focus on enabling salespeople with effortless systems that streamline selling in both face-to-face & screen-to-screen environments.


We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and experience in a relevant business or industry.


The Marketing Campaign & Communications Manager is an important role in the StorySlab marketing department. This ambitious self-starter will be able to make a significant impact quickly by driving a wide variety of marketing communication initiatives and demand generation campaigns.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a variety of campaigns and content deliverables including webinars, direct mail and email promotions, roundtables and digital marketing content/campaigns.

  • Plan, produce and execute drip marketing campaigns for lead acquisition and nurturing using a marketing automation platform (Pardot, Hubspot, or similar system experience is required).

  • Have experience developing campaign messaging that is on target to company messaging/positioning and is highly-relevant to target ICP and customer personas.

  • Traffic, distribute and publish content such as white papers, eBooks and PPT presentations in our mobile app and on our website (Social posting & WordPress experience is required)

  • Report on performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals for effectiveness (MQLs, SQLs and pipeline contribution).

  • Negotiate with and manage third party vendors, ensuring they deliver on time, on budget and to expected results.

  • Review/clean, upload, track & report on leads (previous Salesforce experience is required).

  • Plans, manages and reconciles assigned marketing budget.


Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates should be comfortable with creating all types of content, supervising agency/freelance resources for delivery, evaluating demand generation vendors and executing demand campaigns that hit sales opportunity targets.  This is a roll-up your sleeves position that requires a flexible professional, one that is able to respond to evolving business priorities and needs.  Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced software start-up environment. Applicants must be effective at communicating and managing internal key stakeholders to drive projects to timely completion, as well be highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2-3 years of experience in a B2B marketing role

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with an excellent attention to detail

  • Proficient with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

  • Proficient with marketing automation software (preferably Pardot)

  • Proficient with web content management software (preferably WordPress)

  • Excellent written, verbal & PPT communication skills

We are located in Syracuse, NY but offer remote and hybrid remote work environments.


Compensation and Benefits

WStorySlab offers a generous DTO program, health care benefits, commuting and telecommuting reimbursement stipends, etc. Exact salary commensurate with candidate's experience, StorySlab assumes a range of $60,000 to $70,000.
