StorySlab Inc, is searching for high-energy Account Executives who can recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships. With their extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, Account Executives will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. Account Executives may also assist in developing sales strategies and establishing quotas. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills.

Successful Account Executives will be skilled communicators and presenters who can find the best fit between client and product. The ideal candidate will be able to be organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience. The best candidates will take a consultative approach and have a teacher disposition.

Most of our selling process will be in-house using web-based demonstration tools to explain our software and engage our customers. Occasional travel to trade shows or targeted outreach visits will be required. 

Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Initiating conversations with potential clients

  • Drive demonstrations & sales presentations to secure revenue

  • Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.

  • Manage a defined sales process including funnel management and progressing opportunities. 

  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers.

  • Provide feedback (qualitative and quantitative) to the executive team to optimize sales efforts. 

  • Create and support strategic plans to target large opportunities and hit quotas. 

  • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.

  • Maintaining a database of contact information.

  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.

  • Managing expectations, handling objections and negotiating terms, during the sales cycle.

  • Mentor and support Sales Development Representatives, who will be supporting you with appointment setting, qualifying leads, and other sales operation support. 

  • Work fluidly and collaboratively with our Customer Success teams to ensure new customers have a high quality and smooth start of their on-boarding experience. 

Account Executive Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in business, marketing or related field

  • At least 3 years of sales experience

  • Experience in Saas and/or inside selling 

  • Proven track record of quota attainment

  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software.

  • A preferred candidate will have experiences, such as;

    • Comprehensive and current knowledge of Sales Enablement / SaaS industry trends.

    • Additional education or experience.
