Pre-sales Engineer

 

I.                    Position Purpose:

 

The Pre-Sales Engineering team actively drives and manages the technology evaluation part of the sales process and is an integral member of the Sales team, working as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products. In order to be successful in this role, the Pre-Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of our products to business and technical prospective users and buyers.

 

II.                  Essential Duties:

 

§  Work closely with the sales representatives in the pursuit of new business

§  Engage directly with prospects to understand and solve business challenges leveraging Sigga’s suite of applications

§  Gathers and assesses the customer’s needs, challenges, and objectives - both business and technical

§  Deliver product demos and presentations for prospects during the sales process

§  Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations

§  Provide Product Knowledge Support to the Sales Team

§  Prepare and respond to RFQ/RFP’s.

§  Supports marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

§  Supplies technical details of the proposed solution for proposals

 

III.                Minimum Requirements:

 

§  Bachelor’s degree or related experience

§  Excellent presentation and communication skills

§  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§  Creative problem solver

§  Desirable: Knowledgeable in SAP PM and/or Maintenance processes (EAM)

§  Experience with mobile technologies is a plus
