SCOPE - Primarily performing contract specialist duties of a diverse nature requiring some independent analysis, exercise of judgment in task execution, and detailed knowledge of company procedures related to the work performed. Work may consist of a variety of duties in support of construction management operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Processing contractor submittals, including receiving, distribution to appropriate reviewer, entering responses, distribution after signature and maintaining logs of incoming and outgoing submittals and addressing submittal issues promptly • Handling contract close-outs • Handling assorted Requests for Information (RFIs) and Non-Conformance reports (NCRs) • Handling various reporting metrics (overdue metrics, contracts, outstanding submittal, etc.) • Ensuring prompt responses of submittals as required by project specifications • Assorted smaller specific tasks assigned by the Materials Engineering Unit
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma, Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred • Demonstrated clear, concise, and effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary to establish positive working relationships • Reliable, focused, and dependable with excellent organizational skills • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver them accurately and on a timely basis with minimal supervision • Working knowledge and experience of PC applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and e-Builder
