Lead Server / Floor Supervisor (Full Time)

We are looking for a Lead Server who us ready to join a growing food + drink team within a vibrant new hotel property in Old Town Scottsdale. Someone who takes pride in what they do and really wants to take ownership of the guest experience. If that sounds like you, then come help us create something great!

 

This is a hybrid role that will be able to work as a Lead Server at times, but also able to shift gears as the Floor Supervisor as scheduled. This role provides support to the shift as needed and helps create a successful workspace and an excellent guest experience.

 

What You'll Do

·         Outside of standard server duties, this role will:

·         Monitor team performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently

·         Provide Quality Assurance:

o    Plating / presentation of food items

o    Recipes/ Presentation of beverages

·         Handle customer issues and managing conflicts, table touching

·         Monitoring attendance, tardiness

·         Assign sidework to employees (opening/closing duties)

·         Supervising service (greet times, ticket times, consistency)

·         Monitoring team performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently

·         Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management.

·         Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.

·         Follow all Canopy by Hilton procedures for guest/associate incidents

·         Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures

·         Works as a team player and actively contributes to the success of the bar/restaurant experience

 

What You'll Bring

·         Demonstrated exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment.

·         Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.

·         Requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting continuously throughout the shift

 

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements

·         Title IV Liquor and Food Handlers Certification, or the ability to obtain certification as required.

·         High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

·         Hospitality-related restaurant experience preferred
