ABOUT JAXCARECONNECT

JaxCareConnect is a project of the Duval Safety Net Collaborative, a local nonprofit alliance of safety net free and charitable clinics that assists uninsured adult Duval County residents find a primary care medical home. In addition to establishing primary care, we evaluate the whole person and explore other barriers to healthcare to support best possible health outcomes. JaxCareConnect was created in collaboration with Agape Community Health Center, Community Health Outreach, Muslim American Social Services, Mission House, Sulzbacher, Volunteers in Medicine and We Care Jacksonville, Inc. JaxCareConnect offices are collocated within the offices of WeCareJax, which serves as the fiscal and administrative home for the program. WeCareJax is a non-profit 501(c)3 formed in 1993 to provide access to health care for low-income, uninsured adults in Duval County. WeCareJax provides comprehensive specialty care for the uninsured, those experiencing homelessness, and all medically underserved neighbors of Jacksonville.

JOB SUMMARY

The JaxCareConnect Administrative and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support for day-to-day administrative operations, screening and directing new client inquiries, managing social media platforms, maintaining website updates, and supporting outreach and marketing efforts for the JaxCareConnect team. This position will play an important role in increasing JaxCareConnect’s brand awareness through researching, identifying, and participating in community outreach opportunities as well as increasing brand exposure through maintaining social media and web-based platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Screening incoming calls, emails and web-based inquires for eligibility and directing them to the appropriate team member or other appropriate community resource
  • Supporting the program administrator in creating meeting presentations and related materials
  • Create and maintain social media platforms with messaging developed and approved by the project Administrator, Collaborative, and any contracted marketing support
  • Support the maintenance and development of technology tools, including our website, closed-loop referral platform, CRM, CareMessage and other tools integrated into the program
  • Navigate and pull data reports from JaxCareConnect’s online platforms for monthly, quarterly, and annual program reporting to donors and stakeholders
  • Research, identify and participate in community events and outreach opportunities
  • Manage JaxCareConnect collateral material inventory

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree preferred or three years applicable work experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of free and charitable clinics and medical terminology preferred
  • Experience with WordPress or backend website maintenance
  • In depth knowledge of entire MS Office Suite
  • Experience in web-based tools such as databases, CRMs and other related technology •
  • Exhibits sensitivity to patient health information and protects confidentiality; always maintains privacy for patient and employee information
  • Strong communication, customer service, computer and phone skills
  • Good judgment and empathy in dealing with underserved populations
  • Able to take and follow through with delegated tasks and accountability • Proactive, detailed, organized, problem-solving with strong verbal and written skills

Additional Details:

  • Fulltime /Exempt Position, Salary Range: $38,000 - $40,000 Annually
  • Reliable personal transportation and home office with high-speed internet required
  • Must live within or at a commutable distance to Duval County, FL. Although Coordinator may partially work from home, this is NOT a remote position and local travel is required
  • Ability to work some evening and weekend outreach / event opportunities as needed
