Job Title: Podcast Producer

Summary:

Responsible for advancing Messenger International’s vision by conveying the heart of our mission through our various podcasts.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Coordinates and assists with scheduling guests for hosts

·       Produces content from internal and external sources as well as write podcast notes for hosts

·       Assists the podcast host with recording of voiced commercial campaigns

·       Provides critical feedback for audio-engineer in the editing and producing process of the podcast

·       Creates and produces promos for multiple podcast episodes

·       Uploads audio + video content to various podcast platforms

·       Ability to tailor, adapt and edit content for podcast/social media

·       Possesses recording expertise in both studio and field environments

·       Collaborates with hosts and other teams to achieve the highest standard of assets and deliverables for the company

·       Writes copy for various platforms that hold podcast information, including but not limited to podcast descriptions, email content, web page content

·       Acquires new and coordinates with existing podcast sponsors for various channels

·       Other tasks as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience: 

·       5+ years of experience in video and/or media production or journalism

·       Proven work experience editing or producing extensive video and audio content

·       Proven work experience working closely with talent (understanding the discretion needed and the processes for interacting with talent)

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a wide variety of projects and finish projects within specific deadlines

·       Ability to perform routine video and audio equipment maintenance

·       High level of understanding and use of online video platforms like YouTube

·       Able to balance team success and individual responsibilities

·       Able to handle multiple sets of details at once with accuracy and clarity. Have an advanced knowledge of process and systems

·       To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced level knowledge of audio and video editing

·       Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

·       Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics

Work Location:
Nashville, Tennessee area

 

Job Type/Schedule:

Full-time, 40-hour work week with the potential for occasional overtime.

 

Pay:

Base salary range of $50,000-$60,000 depending on candidate qualifications.
