Role Summary:

At Smartaira, we thrive when our people thrive. The Project Coordinator will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization's design, construction, and implementation teams. We rely on our associates for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidentiality related to high-level systems and operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in assigned projects and delegates accordingly.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Other directives as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field, which may include Business, Project Management, or Communications, preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional telephone protocol and high degree of professionalism
  • Energetic, upbeat, outgoing, organized and detail oriented with excellent follow through skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required.
