Based in New York, the senior institutional marketer will play a leadership role in developing and executing the firm’s relationship development and distribution activities. Reporting to the co-founder and president of the firm, he/she will be responsible for building awareness and demand for the company’s capabilities with the institutional investor and consultant community. This professional will be focused on the eastern half of the United States, with a broader remit to engage international investors over time. Focus product areas include Sycamore Tree’s core strategies, including syndicated loans, structured credit, special situations, and multi-strategy credit.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and proven distribution professional with at least seven to ten years of experience working with alternative fixed income or private debt strategies at firms where credit is a core investment activity. He/She will have a track record of raising funds and developing relationships. He/She will be proactive, driven and methodical, and reflect Sycamore Tree’s core values.
