Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the front and backend of Recon’s security operations customer portal
Test and deploy code to production
Mature our approach to DevOps, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Maintain and monitor cloud and critical infrastructure in AWS
Administer our OpenSearch environment, including maintenance and expansion of infrastructure, and resolving issues that may arise
Assist SOC team with tasks that may require automation or building additional integrations

Critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Solid understanding of cloud and cybersecurity
Strong communications and interpersonal skills with an ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

7+ years experience in software development and maintaining critical applications
Experience developing with Python, Flask, Javascript, and MySQL
Strong knowledge of EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and other services offered in AWS
Experience with implementation of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub actions, CircleCI
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
On-call availability for critical issues (Some nights, weekends, and holidays)
Eligible to work in the US

Experience managing, projecting, and controlling AWS costs
Experience with SIEM platformELK/OpenSearch, or similar
Experience with Redis or similar
Experience with managing and integrating EDR agents
Experience with Timesketch
Experience with SOAR platforms
Experience with monitoring tools such as Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic
