Position Overview

The HR/ Office Administrative Assistant provides administrative and process support across all departments at N2G. You will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks to support the organization’s HR initiatives and physical office. You will be working out of our office in Jersey City, NJ, conveniently located across the street from the Newport PATH station. 

You will be a valuable team player in the organization by providing scheduled and on-the-go assistance to support business operations in this dynamic environment.

 

This Position Is Responsible For

  • Handle a variety of administrative day to day tasks to support business operations
  • Assist in the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Post online job postings across multiple platforms, prequalifying applicants and scheduling interviews, applicant communication
  • Data entry and maintaining employment records and personnel information
  • Maintain and track employee compliance training
  • Support a wide variety of all-staff communications and culture initiatives
  • Assist in coordinating and planning meetings and events
  • Assist with travel arrangements, as needed
  • Manage & order supplies
  • Review and distribute incoming mail, packages
  • Prepare and ship out-going packages
  • Oversee the maintenance of the kitchenette and coffee machines
  • Operate and maintain office equipment
  • Assist with responding to team members inquiries related to the physical office 
  • Visitor Management
  • Tasks and projects consistent with your position and the needs of the business

 

Experience And Skill Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years HR administrative experience
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Punctual and responsible
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivation to complete work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks and priorities with a flexible approach as business needs change
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Work performed in Jersey City, NJ office- several days in office

 

What N2G can offer you:

Base compensation range $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
