Position Overview:
Seeking skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance, leveraging their knowledge and interpersonal skills to enhance N2G’s Underwriting Platform and processes. Ideal candidates are meticulous, organized, adaptable, and excel in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
· Develop requirements for new systems, applications as well as enhancements to existing systems while ensuring the solution design fits the needs of the users
· Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to identify automation and recommend improvements by documenting business/operations process, workflows and system changes and translate business/operations process rules into functional specification to support technology development
· Collaborate with underwriting, operations, finance & claims teams on roadmap planning and optimization
· Conduct comprehensive gap and impact analysis, utilizing process models, maps, and other artifacts.
· Refine user stories following agile methodology for project requirements.
· Produce clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation.
· Prepare test plans/cases and facilitate UAT testing to ensure all issues are identified, tracked, and reported timely.
· Monitor production check-outs for system/application deployments and manage application backlog.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· Business Analyst experience in Commercial Property/Casualty Insurance
· 2+ years of experience in the P&C Insurance industry
· Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office & Asana.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Prior experience with at least one policy administration or CRM system
· Familiarity with Salesforce or Instec is a plus
