Position Overview
Supporting the creation, improvement and implementation of Technical Underwriting initiatives and their tools and strategies to optimize the profitability of the N2G portfolio.
The role´s holder is also responsible for the communication, alignment and teamwork between the Nationwide and the Generali GC&C’s TechEx Team and N2G. 
Responsible for promoting the Portfolio Management discipline and Technical Excellence culture.

This Position Is Responsible For
Portfolio Management (PM) Process 
Support and ensure the local portfolio tiering through the portfolio assessment and         classification in full alignment with N2G strategy.
Assure the Portfolio Strategy Statement execution and actively contribute to it.
Assure the renewal portfolio targets setting process in terms of effective rate change         and retention rate, both on a bucket level and on an individual level.
Ensuring the timely and quality execution of the quarterly portfolio tracking process by:
                Managing and controlling the tools available to carry it out,
                Following up the execution of planned portfolio management actions to                 improve portfolio performance and achieve targets,
                Systematically reviewing and using the portfolio management dashboard to                 understand portfolio performance and its deviations from plan.

PM framework facilitation 
Promoting the use of the portfolio management dashboard in the Country / Region         and provide training to local team members on its usage and management.
Organizing, coordinating and leading the quarterly Portfolio Management Meetings         (PMM) to review portfolio performance versus plan with local and central teams’         members.

Normalized Loss Ratio (NLR)
Support the Technical Underwriting Central Teams at Generali and Nationwide to         successfully carry out the Normalized Loss Ratio evaluation process in coordination         with the relevant local stakeholders, e.g. UW, Claims, Risk, Actuarial, etc.

Technical Pricing related activities
Analyze Technical Underwriting reports related to Technical Pricing, e.g. APTP         Report, UWWB Usage Statistics, etc.; discuss them with the Underwriting Community         and timely address errors or APTP outliers in the pricing tools. 
Review pricing framework, contribute to its improvement by ensuring timely         feedback is provided to continuously improve pricing tools and techniques.
Support the regional UW team by carrying out pricing related tasks, e.g. case pricing         support with coordination and alignment with the Technical Underwriting Central         Teams.

Experience And Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred majors: risk management and insurance, economics, business, finance,         accounting, mathematics
Deep understanding on rate making and pricing
Experience in portfolio management for property and casualty lines
Experience in the Corporate & Commercial channel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills
Excellent digital skills including Excel and BI tools
Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
Effective time management and organizational skills
Lateral thinker with a creative and inventive approach to problems and issues
Understanding of foreign language(s) is a plus
