Senior Manager, Social Media & Content Marketing

We need an experienced Senior Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to expand and mature our voice and brand presence across new and existing channels and social media platforms. We’d welcome a creative and curious social media marketer with a knack for ideating and packaging content for a variety of social channels, who uses data to guide their decision-making along the way. In this role, you will develop social media content that fosters a deep sense of community and grows both brand engagement and revenue significantly. As a key member of the growing marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with functional heads across the company. Most importantly, your work will make a significant impact for families across the US.

  • Social Media Manager

    • A player/coach who defines social content pillars, goals, and strategy in alignment with overall company goals and objectives, and executes on those plans.

    • Measure, report, and make recommendations to team with respect to performance across key social platforms and the contribution of our efforts on social to KPIs that drive our business.

    • Administer all third-party social media tools and content management systems, and marshalls all in house and freelance resources

  • Social Content Strategist, Producer and writer

    • Generate new content and translate existing learning content into formats that travel through social channels to drive the maximum amount of audience.

    • Manage the Tinkergarten Blog, measuring, reporting, and making adjustments to optimize KPIs

    • Find thought leadership and influencer marketing opportunities for content sharing with brands and influencers

    • Work in concert with public relations and growth marketers to optimize impact across channels

What you'll bring

  • Significant experience executing social strategy with a mission-driven consumer, education, and/or social impact brand 

  • Proven track record of using social media content to increase audience engagement, build brand equity, and drive revenue for consumer brands

  • Outstanding writing ability and journalistic judgement, with experience commissioning high-quality work from writers and designers

  • Past startup experience

  • A high standard of personal excellence and strong ownership of your work

  • Works across the org with grace and velocity (or whatever values)

What would set you apart

  • Writing, graphic design, illustration, videography, and/or photography experience or sensibility

  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practice

  • Domain expertise in in parenting, healthy lifestyle, outdoors and or early learning
