The job
As we grow, we need to add new Court Runner. This position's primary job function is to obtain documents from courts around the state of Massachusetts. Court Runners drive to various courthouses throughout the day and research information and obtain records in criminal and civil court indices.
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. All new hires will undergo a 60-day probation and evaluation period....this is an exempt, salaried position.
Mileage, tolls, parking and some incidentals are reimbursed.
Requirements
This is a unique, entry-level position and we will train the right candidate. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated and reliable self-started who works well without supervision. Additional requirements include:
- A reliable vehicle with insurance
- A clean driving record
- Strong ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Concise documentation and communication skills
- Computer Proficient
- Determined work ethic and focus on organization
All driving employees are subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks, including driving records.
Location
Please note that this job requires driving throughout the State of Massachusetts. Periodic meetings will be held at our corporate office in Manchester, New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston.
