·       Candidate will support Federal client with cradle to grave (pre-award to post award) procurements/acquisitions for Medical Sharing, Prosthetics, Services and Supplies, Leasing, and/or Construction. Duties may include: assisting with development of acquisition packages/documents (SOWs/PWSs, IGCEs, J&A, SSEP, Market Research, etc.); review of these documents for quality, clarity, and adherence to applicable regulations (FAR, agency regulations, etc.) and recommendation of revisions; assisting with contract closeouts; performing audits of contract files ensuring adherence to policies, regulations, and identifying any duplication of efforts across contracts.

·       Candidate must possess at least 24 credit hours in accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management OR a FAC-C OR DAWIA Level I in Contracting Certification AND 2 years' experience in conducting comprehensive acquisition support activities with a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

·       Candidate shall be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiar with FEDBiz Ops, CPARS/PPIRS, EPLS, SAM, and GSA eBuy. Experience with VA’s electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) is preferred but not required.

·       Candidate shall have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and cost data; ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives; and ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all lower level acquisition personnel.
