Company Summary:

oneNav is powering high-performance positioning for location-dependent mobile services. Based in Silicon Valley, oneNav is developing a next-generation, Pure L5 mobile GNSS receiver for smartphones, wearables and IOT devices.

Job Summary:

The Pure L5 GNSS Product Manager will report to the VP of Marketing & Business Development and will manage the oneNav product portfolio. The product portfolio comprises all technologies being commercialized by oneNav for the global market. Technology components include the core GNSS receiver hardware and software systems: a revolutionary “GPU for GNSS” array processor—the Klamath embedded GNSS IP Core, RF reference designs, measurement engine, and position engine software running in real-time in the embedded host and the oneNav Cloud software and services. The oneNav product portfolio includes an IP core package (HW and SW) for ASIC and SoC designs, the oneNav Cloud, and a complete evaluation system for OEM and SoC customers. The Pure L5 GNSS Product Manager’s objective is to synthesize and prioritize market, customer, and technical requirements and establish an overall product portfolio strategy and roadmap to enable oneNav to drive broad adoption of the Pure L5 GNSS receiver into the smartphone, wearables, and IoT markets. The product portfolio strategy and roadmap must reflect and anticipate dynamic requirements in the GNSS ecosystem: requirements of end-users, application developers, system integrators, OEMs, and SoC manufacturers; capacity and cost trends in semiconductor manufacturing, device, and component technologies; long-term evolution in GNSS; technical standardization requirements; related engineering equipment and testing processes; partnerships with system integrators, OEMs, and SoC manufacturers; and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities:

  •  Drive adoption of oneNav products by the mobile, wearables, and IoT markets.

  • Define and manage the oneNav product life-cycle process. Outputs include process definition, Market Requirement Documents (MRD), Product Requirements Documents (PRD), Data Sheets, and marketing collateral to support RFI/RFP, FAQs, contracts and technical documentation.

  •  Drive internal cross-functional communication to assure the timely delivery of commercially viable and commercial-quality technical products.

  • Drive continuous evolution and differentiation of oneNav technology products in the Product Roadmap (including Change Management) in terms of specific measurable feature performance requirements (position accuracy, power, memory, chip real-estate, timing, cost) using input from the GNSS ecosystem.

  • Be the communications interface between oneNav and the GNSS ecosystem. Participate in customer meetings, as the oneNav Pure L5 product expert, support pre-sales discussions that lead to customer contracts, and drive market momentum.

  • Be the oneNav internal champion for the Pure L5 ecosystem.

  • Take action; this is not a strategic or advisory role.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years professional work experience in mobile or wireless, or in the semiconductor industry for the cellular, wearable, and IOT markets

  • Minimum 10 years product management experience

  •  Demonstrated track record of product definition, development and launch, with successful customer delivery and market position results into the Global or significant regional Market(s)

  • Solid GNSS/location technology experience, including RF, silicon, and firmware

  • Server/cloud software experience considered a plus

  • Early-stage startup experience required

  • Clear written and verbal communicator

  • Excellent team player, with cross functional team leadership experience

  • BS EE or CS degree required, MS EE/CS desirable
