Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost accounting functions, including but not limited to, inventory analysis, month-end process related to revenue & COGS, global cycle count, overhead, and E&O analysis
- Assist with routine accounts receivable and payable transactions
- Manage balance sheet general ledgers to reconcile all accounts into the schedules monthly
- Manage cash applications & reconcile bank statements
- Prepare accurate, timely journal entries and financial statements per our established month-end & year-end schedule.
- Prepare financial consolidation with US, China, HK & Taiwan
- Prepare monthly financial reporting/schedules to be sent to the parent company
- Manage company’s fixed & tangible assets records, setting up depreciation and amortization schedules
- Research and resolve RMA and stock rotation, with suppliers and customers.
- Support interim and year-end global financial audit process
- Assist with state/property tax filings, 1099 filings and other compliance requirements, as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, as required.
Qualifications for the Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
- 3+ years’ experience in Cost & GL accounting
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Proven ability to coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts and identify/resolve any discrepancies.
- Ability to analyze and validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
- Team player, self-starter, problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to take on special projects when necessary
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Compensation Range: $75,000 - $100,000 / year
