Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate product testing to effectively describe the performance characteristics of LED products and their components.
  • Work with Engineering to validate, calibrate, and maintain Product Development characterization tools, such as integrating spheres, goniospectrometers, etc.
  • Develop reports and effectively communicate results, conclusions, and recommendations to teams located in both China and USA.
  • Work closely with USA-based Engineering teams to develop new characterization tools and methodology as well as to quickly learn and adapt to meet new product requirements.
  • Ability to manage laboratory equipment operators.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters (preferred) degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer languages used to automate data analysis, such as Python.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and optoelectronics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis, including DOE.
  • Independently driven, ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must currently reside in Malaysia
