Job Summary
This position requires a self-reliant, highly motivated person able to work both independently and with a team. Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment in an organized, accurate, efficient manner. You will be responsible for shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, customer returns, inventory & supply management. Ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, accurate, resourceful, punctual and reliable. Strong math and communications skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents
- Pick and pack orders per instructions, in preparation for shipment
- Coordinate with package delivery companies (eq. UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) and freight forwarders to ship goods to their destination in a timely manner
- Receive inventory: Verify product and quantity received is accurate, packaging and shelve products
- Process in-bound and out-bound shipments Including: moving boxes weighing up to 30 pounds, but on rare occasions up to 50 pounds each
- Maintain accurate records of all items shipped and received
- Prepare shipping documents including packing list, commercial invoices and shipping labels for domestic and international shipments
- Process returns from customers
- Purchase of shipping & laboratory materials, maintenance of materials inventory
- Manage all Sunnyvale site purchasing requirements. This entails getting quotes, negotiating prices & leadtimes, and placing Purchase Orders in SAP and/or using the company credit card.
- Be a member of the Sunnyvale site emergency response team, keeping up with key safety training, participating in drills, and demonstrate overall leadership in site safety.

Qualifications for the Position:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Interact professionally with vendors and all departments of the organization
- Experience with various shipping methods desired
- Prioritize work and multi-task while maintaining professional composure

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility

Hourly Rate Range: $22.00 - 27.00 per hour
Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
