Moleskine America is seeking a Finance Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health and success of the US organization. The strategic thinking, financial view, and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and stability.

The Finance Director will

  • Develop financial strategies and present recommendations to US President & HQ
  • Assist in preparing monthly result presentations and supervise reforecasting and budgeting
  • Prepare weekly cash flow reports and oversee financial statements and audits
  • Analyze financial performance, strategize cost control, and enforce internal controls
  • Monitor and analyze financial results and take corrective actions to address variances
  • Manage budget processes, provide financial direction, and assist in strategic decision-making
  • Review financial reports for cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Oversee financial systems, recommend improvements, and lead a team of finance professionals
  • Lead the US monthly closing process, ensure proper filings of local GAAP requirements, and manage local tax requirements for each state in which Moleskine America operates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Director or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of US financial regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
