Atlas Lens Co. (atlaslensco.com) is a growing modern anamorphic cinema lensmaker and manufacturer. Our mission is to democratize anamorphic cinema by empowering creative image-makers in creating work that’s more interesting, more personal, and more rewarding. Founded in 2016 by designer Forrest Schultz and cinematographer Dan Kanes, Atlas Lens Co. designs and manufactures affordable, high-performance tools that deliver vintage aesthetics in modern mechanics. Our flagship ORION SERIES anamorphic prime lenses have been featured on productions such as STARZ’s American Gods to Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” music video. We are based in Burbank, California with sales worldwide.


Job Summary 


We're looking for a talented and forward-thinking content marketer extraordinaire who's ready to develop, grow, and sustain our purpose-driven social communities for Atlas Lens Co. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and collaborative team player who has a deep empathy and understanding of multicultural/global audiences while being able to learn quickly and creatively problem-solve. We’re building out our platforms to 1) Build a community around amplifying the stories and perspectives of diverse creators all around the world; 2) Support our audiences with more consistent updates and increased social engagement; all to 3) Act upon our brand mission to democratize anamorphic cinema. Responsibilities


Campaign Strategy:

  • Grow and sustain our branded Instagram, Facebook and Vimeo channels to promote our mission of democratizing anamorphic cinema, ideally rooted in strong insights for multicultural and global audiences

  • Develop campaigns and help produce content that’s in-tune with our audiences’ needs 

  • Create assets or collaborate with creator partners to develop visual assets/media clips

  • Responsible for copywriting for all social content, collaborating with other teams as needed

  • Develop and manage the strategy and processes to scale output content

  • Track analytics for insights to help accelerate growth and improve content strategy

  • Create, design, and publish email marketing campaigns to promote products or services


Community Development and Management:

  • Develop, maintain and execute content calendars for all branded social channels

  • Track, maintain and repost user-generated content

  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us.

  • Generate insights using social analytics tools to support proposals for social platform optimization

  • Respond to comments to foster positive community and customer experience

  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3 years of growing and managing active email and social marketing campaigns

  • Actively participates and understands the ins and outs of majour social platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to recommend and hit social KPIs as a part of broader social strategy

  • Experience developing ideas that forge strong emotional connections between brand and audience

  • Have an understanding of communities and how to foster ongoing relationships

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world

  • Ability to create, innovate, and take ideas from conception to delivering the final product

  • Critical thinker with an affinity for identifying solutions versus stating problems

  • Must be comfortable in Google/Microsoft suite of applications

  • Multicultural experience preferred, as our userbase is deeply global and diverse
