About the Job:

The Associate Creative Director, Copy will be responsible for supporting the VP of Creative in concepting, writing and executing a variety of high-level creative campaigns. This includes, but is not restricted to, brand initiatives, ambassador management, and influencer partnerships. This person will also work in collaboration with designers to conceptualize and write paid media campaigns to bring to life. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating copywriting needs across various projects including social media posts to carry out the brand voice across all channels. This is a creative role reporting into the VP of Creative and located in Los Angeles.


Responsibilities:

  • Concepting, writing, and executing a variety of high-level creative campaigns, from brand initiatives, ambassador and influencer partnership, and more with direction from VP of Creative

  • Concepting and writing paid media campaigns in collaboration with designers

  • Serving up copywriting needs across various projects

  • Assisting with the social team with copywriting needs



Education & Experience:

  • 6-10 years experience as a copywriter, currently associate creative director to creative director level

  • Experience working internally with marketing and/or merchandising teams

  • Startup experience preferred


Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Spilling over with big, press-worthy ideas

  • Extremely strong copywriting chops

  • Ability to internalize a very nuanced brand voice and create against it

  • Must be a comedy or humor writer

  • Creative and self starter


Preferred:

  • CPG or relevant industry experience

  • Startup experience
