About the Job:

The Producer will be responsible for working with all agencies and production partners to execute production shoots from concept to final delivery. This person will produce internal and external video and photography projects in a fast paced and sometimes scrappy environment. This role will handle all budgets to ensure projects are delivered within scope and on time. In addition, the Producer will manage the workflow of all merchandising photography plus work cross functionally across creative, marketing, ecommerce, and merchandising teams to execute all video and photography shoots. This position will report directly to the VP of Creative and is located in Los Angeles, CA. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, support and execute creative concepts by working with agency and/or production partners to see video production and photography (product, editorial, ecommerce) shoots to fruition from concept phase through final delivery.

  • Develop content production solutions, strategies and recommendations in partnership with Creative and Marketing leadership 

  • Bid, review and negotiate production estimates. Review and approve all production related invoices. 

  • Manage budgets to ensure projects are delivered within scope and on time.

  • Conduct pre-production meetings and coordinate and schedule productionsConduct pre-production meetings and coordinate and schedule productions


Education & Experience:

  • 5-10 years experience in production at an ad agency or in house for a consumer brand. 


Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Humble and collaborative; willing and able to tackle projects of any size or scope in collaboration with cross functional  internal and external partners

  • First-hand experience of how to stay scrappy with small budgets.

  • An almost annoying attention to detail.

  • Fantastic organization and time management skills.

  • Great financial and negotiating abilities.

  • A wide network of collaborators and production resources to draw from.

Preferred:

  • CPG or relevant industry experience

  • Start up experience


Physical Demands:

  • May be required to help move product or other necessary production items around to various locations.

  • Must attend video shoots in person (most often in LA).

  • May be required to work long shoot days.
