About the Job:

The Brand Manager will support the creative team to drive brand development, creation, and socialization of brand standards through PR and offline media for Liquid Death. This position will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to manage the brand calendar to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met and executed within scope including the management of the offline media budget. This position will report directly to the VP of Marketing and is fully remote with preferred location in Los Angeles, CA. 


Responsibilities:

  • Drive brand development, creation and socialization of brand standards in partnership with Creative team

  • Own monthly brand campaign strategy and execution to launch innovative and informed initiatives.

  • Brand Calendar Management 

  • Managing Offline Media Budget



Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS or Masters degree

  • 5-7+ years of experience in advertising, brand strategy, marketing or a related field demonstrating creative work with a focus on social content and earned media

  • Evidence of success in developing and growing brands in house or with an agency

  • Ability to manage brand standards across a variety of partners 

  • Experience with developing seamless campaign communication and launch plans across all platforms and channels.

  • Experience leading a larger marketing team and working across channel owner partners 

  • Ability to manage external agency partners from PR to media

  • Track record of effectively managing an awareness focused media budget 

  • Product and brand innovation experience a plus


Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with a wide range of research and intelligence sources 

  • Ability to solve problems in real time with a variety of internal and external partners

  • Can work gracefully under pressure in an extremely high growth environment

  • Calendar management and organizational planning skills 


Preferred:

  • CPG or relevant industry experience

  • Start up experience
