WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

As a Junior Branded Copywriter, you will directly support our team of Branded Copywriters and Campaign Strategists in writing and publishing native content articles, listicles, and feature stories, as well as branded social media posts, for 6AM City’s wide variety of local, regional, and national advertising partners across all markets within 6AM’s nationwide reach.

 

Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication, project management, and time management skills, as well as a passion for creating interesting, dynamic written content. This team member must be curious about the world, hungry to learn, and eager for balanced feedback.

 

This role is perfect for someone who is well organized with a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple requests effectively and efficiently.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Client Success, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in this role; working collaboratively with Branded Copywriters and Campaign Strategists directly within our Client Success Team, as well as our team’s Account Managers. You’ll also have opportunities to collaborate with 6AM’s Sales, Marketing, and Editorial teams to fulfill and exceed client expectations with paid content.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Work with the Client Success Team to fulfill branded content needs for 6AM’s advertising clients

  • Write flaw-free, publish-ready branded content that mirrors 6AM City’s conversational, approachable tone and style

  • Receive and process constant editing feedback

  • Publish paid content across multiple platforms

  • Be the keen last pair of eyes on a client’s valuable work

  • Be measured on Client Success Team KPIs

  • A superb vocabulary

  • Excellent writing skills with no grammatical or factual errors

  • Curiosity about the world and learning more about various topics

  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail

  • Ability to take direction and feedback and to be adaptable to change

  • The ability to multitask and prioritize as needed

  • Hands-on experience in content writing, project management, or similar in marketing, digital media, and/or online publishing 

  • Clear, concise, and professional communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly, implement learnings into daily responsibilities, and grasp the big picture

  • Take ownership of and initiative in everything you do, and understand how to work in a team

  • Openness to learning new tech. A bonus would be experience working with Content Management Systems, Asana, Slack, HubSpot, and/or PandaDoc
