WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

6AM is redefining how communities engage, communicate, connect and experience their cities. We’re rapidly growing our team and digital products, and expanding our team across current and future markets. 6AM is for highly energetic performers who thrive off a fast-paced work environment and see the direct impact of their work. Join us as we build upon our growing network of cities, continuing our vision of establishing the most relevant modern local media brand.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a part of the 6AM City Growth Team, you’ll bring your expertise, ingenuity, and creativity to the officially-unofficial “Marketing Kitchen” – where we’re building recipes that keep our readers' digital taste buds yearning for more. You’ll assist our digital team in producing the highest quality digital design (and some print) assets that attract and engage our target audience. You will need to have excellent communication skills with the ability to offer proactive solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations to ensure the success of our digital products.

  • Support the vision of 6AM City by designing logos, banners, branding, illustrations, and other visual assets for our email newsletter, web, social, and print materials for business, marketing, and sales initiatives.

  • Understand, uphold, and expand upon our brand guidelines and design aesthetic to ensure balance between both our brand and partners.

  • Be laser focused on the scalability of creativity, having a mind set that anything you create needs to be designed so that it can be easily expanded to multiple markets or versions.

  • Conceive, direct, and create web, social media, and other multimedia content.

  • Develop and conceptualize original designs backed by solid design principles.

  • Ideate and develop creative with a scalable mobile-first mentality.

  • Proactively participate in the product ideation and conceptual development with the marketing, editorial, and product teams.

  • Provide daily support to local market teams' creative needs.

  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to develop creative for advertising positions (email headers).

  • Work collaboratively with our web and newsletter development teams as needed.

  • Lead the company culture through creative contribution to the team.

  • Live and breathe the 6AM City brand.
