Applicants must be available 20-25 hours per week. This is a remote position, with in-person meetings 1-2 times per week in the Greenville, SC office. Typical office hours are M-F, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. This role has the ability to work from the office as desired and has the opportunity to grow into full-time employment.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Supporting the post-sale financial process from account set up to monthly invoicing and managing outstanding accounts receivable.
Manage all aspects of billing for advertising clients with 100% ownership
Receive, confirm accuracy, book, and manage all contracts in Quickbooks
Send client invoices monthly, reconcile A/R, and follow up to collect past due A/R
Help to resolve payment issues with clients, providing a solution oriented approach to capture revenue while maintaining strong customer relationships
Manage inbound payments, process checks in a timely manner, and deposit to company’s financial institution
Manage and respond to all advertising partner’s financial requests
Manage and provide billing support (processing and refunds) as needed for online purchases through our e-commerce platform and merchant services accounts
Perform month end procedures and reconciliation
Provide monthly reporting to management and accounting management team

We are looking for team members with a track record of success in accounts receivable and managing client relationships.
Proven experience managing customer accounts and accounts receivables
Experience in bookkeeping/accounting and knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures is a plus
High energy, self-starter, can-do attitude, and passion for working in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong financial acumen and a desire to work with numbers daily
Ability to diffuse conflicts while maintaining brand integrity and great customer service
Take ownership of and initiative in everything you do, and understand how to work in a team
Proficiency with MacBook, iPhone, and Quickbooks
Proficiency working in G Suite (Drive, GMail, Sheets, and Docs)
