Sales Directors report directly to the SVP, Revenue and have both management and hands-on individual contributor responsibilities. Our Sales Directors are an important part of our sales team, supporting a local, regional and national sales strategy across 50+ markets in the United States. The position will interface extensively with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including several direct reports.

  • Build and lead a team of experienced sales professionals – expedite the development of a strong mix of local, regional, and national advertising partners across all markets

  • Support your team of Sales Executives – day to day support, oversight, and communication

  • Oversee prospecting initiatives  – ensure the team is setting meetings, and maintaining a full and active client pipeline and tracking sales activity in our sales CRM platform

  • Support the preparation and delivery of sales presentations that close – understand clients, potential objections, and develop a solution oriented approach that closes deals for your team

  • Performance. Develop and execute action plans to meet and exceed KPI’s – guide and support your sales team to ensure your team is meeting and exceeding revenue goals

  • Drive increased revenue ­– new inventory sales, multi-market partnerships, and renewals

  • Establish synergy with the revenue team – branded content and account management should always speak very highly of your sales team

  • Lead and inspire a winning team – achieving goals, coaching, career pathing, and supporting headcount growth decisions. 

  • Industry leading sales messaging – coordinate with Sales Directors and SVP, Sales to develop and deploy internal sales resources and external sales materials

  • Sales strategy – coordinate with Sales Directors and SVP, Sales to design, develop, and implement short and long term sales strategies.

We are looking for team members with strong and diverse knowledge of local, regional, and national sales with a track record of success in digital media.

  • Experience: 5+ years working in digital media sales, 3+ years in sales management.

  • Data Driven Leader: Proven track record with a passion for data driven decision making.

  • Product Knowledge: Background in content marketing and performance/analytics reporting.

  • Communication Expert: Know how to communicate with multiple personalities across multiple markets. Set clear expectations and create a level of accountability that drives a desire to over-deliver.
