WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


We're looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist who has a proven track record of driving significant growth through the execution of paid digital marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for helping execute 6AM City’s audience development strategy by building and managing paid campaigns across multiple online channels. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to acquire and retain subscribers for 6AM City’s suite of email newsletter products. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, innovative, problem-solver who gets things done and is excited about growth.


  • Working alongside the growth marketing team to drive direct impact on 6AM City’s audience growth goals and initiatives through paid channels, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Google Adwords, Reddit, etc.

  • Manage day-to-day creation, execution, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns including creative development, ad placement, and audience building to support monthly audience growth targets.

  • Deliver CAC/LTV analysis holistically and per channel to provide recommendations for CPA goals and budget allocation.

  • Customer-focused and data-driven: Utilize data and insights to have a deep understanding of 6AM’s top-performing audience, subscriber lifecycle, acquisition funnel, and identify opportunities for growth – optimization and new channel exploration.

  • Staying on top and ahead of changing algorithms, software, and trends as directly related to growth campaigns.

  • Support the Growth Manager in collaborating with the editorial team for growth-driven content and optimization. 

  • Reporting: Support the Growth Manager in building performance marketing reports and provide actionable insights back to leadership.

We are looking for team members with a strong and diverse track record of success in digital media and marketing. Ideal candidates will embody a spirit of agility, a passion for 6AM City’s mission, and have the following skills:

 

  • 2-5 years of full-time experience in performance marketing roles with a proven track record of driving growth and minimizing CAC.

  • Understanding of the media planning and buying process and bonus points for a background in digital marketing concepts and best practices (SEO, Keyword research, organic social media strategy, etc.).

  • Strong project management skills with experience executing marketing campaigns.

  • Proficiency in GSuite; MS Office; Google Adwords and Analytics, Facebook and Instagram ads; Asana; WordPress; etc.

  • Exceptional organizational, budgetary, and time management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights.

  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally, specifically with editorial and leadership teams.

  • High energy, self-starter, can-do attitude, and passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enthusiastic individual who portrays enthusiasm for learning and working with others.

  • Take ownership of and pride in everything you do.
