What We Do
At CoROS, we are building revolutionary product solutions to create optimal customer experiences and drive operational efficiency that spans the entire logistics chain. These are rapidly expanding business areas, and we’re at the forefront of the industry.

The explosive growth and disruption requires a visionary, and a dynamic product leader who is able to handle uncertainties, has a wider perspective, and an uncanny ability to connect the dots. You will partner with key stakeholders across the entire organization, and help lead the vision for how we’ll reshape the logistics industry.

Our Company Values
Give your users superpowers: Always put your users first. All else will follow. Build products that aren't just usable, but that excite your users -that they champion
Every frame counts: Celebrate the details. Great isn't good enough. Build for the long-term.
Open the aperture: Make things happen, regardless of whether it's "your" job or not. Welcome feedback; we're in this together.
Enjoy the ride: Be optimistic, curious, and playful. Build something you love and share it.
Born in the garage: Never forget our roots. Innovation doesn't happen when you play it safe. Make mistakes quickly, learn from them faster.

What You'll Do
You will be helping to build the computer vision framework that drives our COROS (Cargo Object Recognition organization System). You will specifically work on the architecture of parcel detection and parcel tracking system through use machine vision techniques and program accelerators, such as Open CV/GPUs and VPUs to implement COROS.
You will design machine vision algorithms, implement them through prototyping, and push the code into production system. You are not only implementing new models on top of existing framework to solve machine vision problems in real world, but also you are helping to improve the core framework that unifies all the problems we are solving. The differentiation of our frameworks and models are that they are computationally and numerically much more efficient (orders of magnitude) than state of the art techniques.
You should have expertise in computer vision (or related field such as geometric algebra, computer graphics, machine learning/DCNNs, computational math, etc.), have worked on developing large scale, cost effective, deployable software projects, and have strong understanding of C++/Python and a strong mathematical background.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Expertise in Computer Vision, such as feature/color spaces, algorithms, filters, 3D Geometric Algebra/Matrix, non-linear optimization, etc.
  • Expertise in Machine Learning, e.g. DCNNs, R-CNNs, RNNs, decision trees, statistics/probability theory for various object detection methodologies and related frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, Caffe).
  • Strong C++/Python, Multi-thread/CPU, OpenCL, and shell programming experience.
  • Expertise in OpenCV, PCL/OpenNI, Boost, Eigen, Linear Algebra, Keras-Solver libraries.
  • Experience with ground truth metrics acquisition to cross-validate, analyze, and evaluate various 2D/3D data acquisition devices, such as Stereo (RealSense), Time of Flight (Kinect 2), and Structural Light (Orbbec) cameras or LiDaRs (e.g. Faro FocusX series) and their corresponding software packages.
  • Experience developing large scale deployable complex code bases products, familiarity with version control tools such as GIT (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, software engineering theory and tools (e.g. UML2 (Enterprise Architect), and knowledge management products (Confluence, and Jira), etc.
  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related software-based fields.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, CS/EE or Mathematics preferred
