WHY VEIR?

Giving everyone in the world access to clean, reliable, affordable energy will require substantial expansion of global electricity transmission networks. VEIR is developing a new generation of High Temperature Superconductor (HTS)-based transmission lines, enabling long distance, reliable, low loss, cost–effective power transfer in far smaller right–of–ways. VEIR’s innovations overcome the main barriers to transmission expansion, enabling the world to access the very lowest cost renewable power.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Commercial team for an emerging new transmission and distribution company developing the next generation of superconducting powerlines offered to regulated utilities, public power, merchant developers, and wind and solar energy developers, data center developers, and other grid scale interconnection customers. The T&D Sales associate will report directly to the VP of Commercial and work closely with the Director of Product to identify key customers and markets for early product deployments. The major focus will be new business development to target customers of a first of its kind transmission and distribution product that can conduct five to ten times the capacity of traditional conductors.
