WHY VEIR?

Giving everyone in the world access to clean, reliable, affordable energy will require substantial expansion of global electricity transmission networks. VEIR is developing a new generation of High-Temperature Superconductor (HTS)-based transmission lines, enabling long-distance, reliable, low-loss, cost-effective power transfer in far smaller right-of-ways. VEIR’s innovations overcome the main barriers to transmission expansion, enabling the world to access the very lowest-cost renewable power.

  • Develop and utilize a suite of analytical tools and models that integrate into and support VEIR's strategic growth activities, commercial project pipeline, policy and regulatory efforts, and product development.
  • Establish creative analytical approaches that enable VEIR to efficiently gather market data and convert it to market intelligence and identify the best locations to deploy VEIR transmission lines and the best VEIR transmission line solutions to address specific customer needs.
  • Perform studies to understand how VEIR lines will integrate into and operate with existing power system infrastructure and components.
  • Work alongside VEIR’s transmission line design engineers to propose actual transmission project options to solve specific customer needs.
  • Work closely with the strategy, commercial, regulatory, and product development teams to continuously update and validate model input assumptions and analytics data sources and approaches.
  • Support the company’s mission to unlock the transmission capacity necessary for deep reductions in global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
  • Comply with safety standards and company guidelines
  • Promote safety, efficiency, teamwork, and collaboration

Basic Qualifications:
