MultiVersity Housing Partners is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its growing team in Bloomington IN.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in completing the turn-key apartment renovations and make ready process.
  • To carry out those duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Perform work in response to Maintenance Orders.
  • Perform all general repair and maintenance related to the interior and exterior of the apartment community, including drywall and painting.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as a golf carts, drill, saw, and other operating tools.
  • Assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures for HVAC, water, and drainage.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining inventory and inventory controls.
  • Possession of basic tools required for proficient job performance.
  • Participate in after hours and emergency response.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: 

  • Some skill preferred but not required
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks including interactions with staff across the company
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Must be able to work on-call and weekends as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • 1-3 years apartments maintenance experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Must be able to work on-call and weekends as needed
