THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION (MUST LIVE IN AND BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE USA OR CANADA)


PGP is seeking a Senior Influencer Marketing Manager, who will be a critical leader in the day-to-day operations of PGP’s influencer work. This position works both independently and collaboratively to execute influencer marketing components of PGP’s programs. This role must be able to effectively delegate and guide team members as needed to execute project tasks and deliverables, collaborate internally across departments while also managing their own campaigns.  This position requires a high attention to detail, a passion for leading others to achieve programmatic goals, and a positive, motivating leadership style. They will report to the Director of Digital Community Engagement and supervise staff. 


The job entails activities pertaining, but not limited, to: 


Project Related Responsibilities 

  • Manage several programs/clients concurrently and work directly with program managers and other internal staff to ensure the success of each campaign.

  • Source, engage, and build relationships with influencers, who we view as partners in this work, to bring high-quality content to target audiences, as specified per client/campaign.

  • Participate in internal meetings and discussions on behalf of the influencer team for projects you lead and support, in addition to other projects, as needed. 

  • Lead influencer payment accounting and assist Director with monthly budget forecasting.

  • Partner with Editorial and the Senior Digital Strategist on developing and updating influencer briefs and prompts. Ensure all influencer content meets prompt requirements. Proactively elevate opportunities to update prompts due to evolving health topics, target audience insights, or IM trends. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing Analyst, Senior Digital Strategist, Programs, Research as necessary) on reporting influencer-related performance and qualitative insights. 

  • Partner with the paid media team to provide and update influencer UGC content for relevant programs.

  • Partner with Sr. Digital Strategist and Director to lead cross-team campaign activations that involve paid influencer components, and deliver content/collaborations accordingly 

  • Stay up to date on influencer marketing metrics and benchmarks and proactively recommend optimizations to PGP’s influencer marketing work.   

  • Lead the development and delivery of client-facing strategy decks, reports, technical assistance, and process documents with support from the Director.

  • Partner with the Senior Digital Strategist on tracking and implementing trends, best practices, and innovations in Influencer Marketing. 

  • Support Director and VP with scoping upcoming influencer marketing deliverables.

  • Collaborate with other internal departments to provide creative and implementation support for multi-channel activations. 


Management Related Responsibilities 

  • Manage and facilitate progress for all influencer marketing contracts and KPIs; while keeping the Director informed of challenges and successes.

  • Lead PGP’s approach to sourcing, engaging, and building relationships with influencers, who we view as partners in this work, to bring high-quality content to target audiences, as specified per client/program.

  • Manage IM deliverables and professional development for IM staff, with support from the Director. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that both guides and challenges direct reports to learn and grow within PGP.

  • Partner with the Director on forecasting and optimizing IM team capacity.

  • Liaise with the VP of Comms and Program Managers to phase deliverables and/or define KPIs accordingly.

  • Partner with the Director to integrate tools and software, acting as primary point of contact once tools are onboarded. Elevate IM team barriers and bottlenecks prior to impacting contract deliverables and/or KPIs. 

  • Help to streamline influencer acquisition, create better processes for approval, and performance monitoring.

  • Lead the ongoing assessment of influencer marketing software and resources, and make related recommendations for increasing efficiency and quality with budget considerations.

  • Support the growth of PGP’s Influencer Marketing capabilities in line with the long-term goals and vision of the organization and influencer marketing trends.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years digital marketing experience required, including 1+ year of influencer marketing experience

  • Experience in GRIN for sourcing, outreach, contracting, and billing 

  • Experience as a manager or mentor in a collaborative work environment

  • A native user of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.

  • Preferred experience with third-party digital marketing and analytics platforms and tools

  • Detail oriented and highly organized with a proven track record of supporting multiple projects concurrently with tight deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute innovative ideas and processes

  • Strong marketing instincts, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively and efficiently

  • Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred (Spanish/English); English fluency required 

  • Ability to work well and collaborate with a team
