THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION FOR SOMEONE BASED IN NEW YORK
PGP is seeking a full-time New York-based Account Manager who will report to the Director of Account Management. The ideal candidate is high-performing, self-driven and has experience working in a cross-functional team environment. This person will be responsible for planning, management and oversight of all campaign and client management activities.
PGP Account Managers are passionate about creating positive social change and are adept at simultaneously balancing ongoing projects, daily tasks, and one-off fires. This role interacts with many different team members and clients on a daily basis, it is equally important to be organized and detail-oriented, as it is to be welcoming and collaborative. This person should enjoy interacting with people and believe in taking the extra effort to make all feel comfortable and supported.
The job of the Account Manager entails activities pertaining to, but not limited to:
Project Management:
Manage cross-discipline project timelines and ensure client deliverables are on time
Provide and present reports on campaign progress to PGP staff and clients
Consult with leadership to develop task lists and maintain a clear view of the work
Track tasks and deliverables using project management tools (Monday.com, excel, etc.)
Communicate effectively with team members in multiple departments to ensure successful knowledge/information transfer between clients and PGP staff and vise versa
Maintain a high attention to detail on all internal and external communication materials, reports and final products
Client Management:
Support Director of Account Management and other account managers in maintaining and growing client relationships
Communicate client feedback on strategies and creative to PGP team members
Communicate directly with clients on a daily basis
Assist development of various reports for clients, including, but not limited to: monthly media reports, quarterly progress reports and annual campaign reports
Assist in managing client expectations related to project timelines, budgets, and scope of deliverables
Required Qualifications:
Interest and experience working with public health advocacy and social justice campaigns
3+ years experience in account management, preferred in marketing, advertising, or public relations
2+ years of experience in client relations, preferred in marketing, advertising, or public relations
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; with experience creating client reports and internal project plans
Experience managing multiple priorities and projects requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills
Experience working with and guiding cross-functional teams
Ability to work both independently & collaboratively within a team
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
English/Spanish Bilingual strongly preferred
Ability to analyze advertising/digital media metrics and report on them
Experience working on video production and/or website development projects
Experience working on creative tasks with a team to bring a creative vision to life
Experience managing project budgets
Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing communication plans
