THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION


PGP (The Public Good Projects) is seeking a new role, a full-time Web UX/UI Designer who will report to the Director of Web and assist a lead UX/UI Designer. This position will be responsible for designing websites and web applications, balancing usability with innovative visual design, and optimizing for measurements of success. We’re looking for someone that will make an immediate impact in the quality of our web products and take our work to the next level. The job entails activities pertaining, but not limited, to:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with project managers, account managers, web team, and other project stakeholders to strategize on product direction and UX process.

  • Design user flows, wireframes, and interactive design prototypes that effectively communicate solutions.

  • Work with the design team to ensure look, feel, accessibility, and branding adherence across all products.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the lifecycle of wireframe and prototype development to ensure designs adhere to project goals.

  • Work closely with the development team and provide high-resolution prototypes to guide their work, including style guides to ensure a consistent experience across products.

  • Ability to clearly explain design decisions to stakeholders.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Interest and experience working with public health advocacy and social justice campaigns

  • 2+ years professional web UI design experience.

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or related design tools

  • Graphic design experience preferred

  • Portfolio featuring in-production web projects and prepared to discuss their own roles and responsibilities in the projects.

  • Strong understanding of web best practices including branding, color theory, typography, trends, patterns, layouts, and accessibility.

  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized with ability to work on multiple projects

  • Ability to work both independently & collaboratively within a team

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Time-management, multitasking and the ability to work under pressure are essential
